Spätburgunder “Ardesia” 2014
Pinot Noir, in Germany called Spätburgunder, is the most cultivated red variety in the country. It is a late variety (Spät-) The Lennenborn vineyard, already famous for the production of red grapes, is located in the hamlet of Steeg. The colour is ruby red. The bouquet is dominated by the varietal and green scents of the vine, black cherry, wild strawberries, blueberry and rose petals, accompanied by complex notes such as graphite, pepper, butter, vanilla. The palate is enveloping, full of pulp, with sweet tannins. Long persistence.
